Some suppliers will only clear stock if nobody can tell it came from them, so we broker those lots ourselves. Verified business buyers see the lot, the quantity and a broad region, and offer against each other. You can see the leading total and whether you are ahead, but never who else is bidding — and they cannot see you either. Offers are binding until the round closes, and there is a minimum raise so a round cannot be dragged out a penny at a time.
